Don't you have a few special gadgets that you would replace in a heartbeat if something happened to them? And you don't know how you lived without them? Well, the STAGE RACK is one of those for me (along with my Fujitsu Scansnap Desktop Scanner). I have the eSATA/USB version of this dock and I'm considering getting several for some friends. They are THAT good. Build quality is very good. It "just works"! I intended to use mine to rotate bare hard drives as backups, but right off the bat, it came in handy for imaging my daughter's failing hard drive to a replacement drive. Went without a hitch.
