Realforce86 Series English Layout Keyboard
Additional Information
Enhanced Durability
These keys use original contactless electrostatic capacitive keys, rated for over thirty million presses over the life of the keyboard.
Variable Key Weights for Easier Typing
Along with the standard key weight of 45g, Realforce keyboards come in 35g, 55g, and variable key weight models perfect for longer continuous typing, comfort, and a light feedback that responds to even the lightest touch with a pinkie.
Tactile Comfort
Designed from an ergonomic perspective, these keyboards have a step sculpture design with rice paddy-style rows and an overall curvature in the surface of the keyboard for typing comfort. The keys flanking the home row face toward the fingers, making them easier to access without the need to reach.
Designed for High-Speed Typists
The non-contact mechanisms under each key ensure that each keypress is reflected accurately in order and in the exact number of times the keys are pressed. High-speed typists take comfort in the n-key rollover system, which scans each key individually to ensure that each keypress is detected, even when other keys are pressed down at the same time.
Key Prints Don't Fade
The printed characters on the keys are applied using a sublimation technique that forces the ink into the resin, thus ensuring that the labels don't fade from prolonged use - even after years and years of tender caressing. Some keyboard models have laser-etched key labels.
Light Sound
With a four-millimeter stroke, these keys don't have to be pressed down all the way, and will sound quieter and softer than conventional keyboards.
