JVC's SP-A440 sound system puts two 1.3-inch drivers into each of it's cube speakers, but on different faces. This configuration is meant to offer broader sound coverage as well as a "surround sound" experience in Theater Mode. Music Mode will see the additional driver kick in for a bit more 'oomph' to your favorite tracks
