GeekStuff4U strives to meet the demands of our Customers as efficiently and rapidly as possible. In order to create and maintain the best relationship possible, we ask that you read our Terms, Conditions and Policies.
GeekStuff4U and GeekStuff4U.com are the brand names created and operated by HIC International Co. , Ltd. The following terms and conditions govern the sales by the entity ("GeekStuff4U") named on the invoices we provide to our Customers for orders of products sold on the GeekStuff4U website ("GeekStuff4U.com").
By ordering and/or accepting delivery of products from GeekStuff4U or described on the Customer's invoice, the Customer accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms, Conditions, and Policies. These Terms and Conditions may not be appended, modified or altered by the Customer. No other document(s) may be used to alter our agreement in any way, unless agreed upon in writing by HIC International. Any attempts to append, modify, or alter these Terms and Conditions will make the agreement null and void unless agreed upon in writing by HIC International. In the event of a dispute arising with respect to these Terms and Conditions, jurisdiction will rest with the Tokyo District Court, the district court with geographic jursidiction of HIC International's operational headquarters. All terms and conditions are subject to Japanese law.
HIC International reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. All of our Terms, Conditions and Policies are written with both the Customer's and GeekStuff4U's own security in mind.

1. Shopping on GeekStuff4U.com
Products are available for purchase from GeekStuff4U.com, except when otherwise specified on each individual product page. The displayed price of the product, or the displayed price of a custom configuration of the product as configured by the Customer, is the retail price of the product in Japanese Yen (JPY); all other currencies are provided for estimation purposes only. All transactions will be conducted in Japanese Yen (JPY) using official currency conversion rates at the time of the transaction. The handling time listed on each product page on GeekStuff4U.com are estimates of the number of Japanese business days it takes to process orders that include the relevant product prior to shipping, and may be affected by unforeseen conditions such as stock availability, natural or man-made disasters, political instability, and shipping service availability.
GeekStuff4U aims to provide the most accurate and up-to-date product specifications, information and descriptions of all products listed on our website. We take this information directly from manufacturers' press releases, printed materials, websites, and/or sales representatives. In some cases, manufacturers may alter product features and/or included options prior to, or after, official release. GeekStuff4U will do its best to make the Customer aware of such changes or modifications, but GeekStuff4U.com is not responsible for any errors or omissions within these descriptions or specifications. If the Customer is dissatisfied with their purchase due to such an inaccuracy, HIC International will make every effort to improve the Customer's satisfaction on a case-by-case basis. Contact GeekStuff4U Customer Service at info@geekstuff4u.com to explain your issue. All final solutions are made at the discretion of HIC International.
2. Payment Options
Once an order is completed on GeekStuff4U.com, the Customer will pay GeekStuff4U the full order amount as specified on the order. GeekStuff4U accepts payment via wire transfer, PayPal, and credit card. The Customer will have one week after order completion to pay for the order amount, after which orders with pending payments will be canceled by GeekStuff4U.
2.1 PayPal
PayPal payments are valid only for residents in nations serviced by PayPal. Residents of nations not serviced by PayPal are required to contact GeekStuff4U prior to completing your order and shipment in order to process the transaction. Click here for a list of countries served by PayPal [paypal.com]. All transactions will occur in Japanese Yen (JPY); all other currencies on GeekStuff4U.com are provided for estimation purposes only.
In order to combat fraudulent chargebacks, GeekStuff4U will ship your merchandise after your funds have cleared in our account. As per PayPal's Anti-Fraud Policy guidelines, customers that attempt fraudulent credit card reversals via PayPal will be subject to a 25% Restocking Fee in addition to all shipping fees.
2.2 Credit Card
GeekStuff4U accepts payment via credit cards issued by Visa and MasterCard. In order to combat fraudulent chargebacks, GeekStuff4U will ship your merchandise after your funds have cleared in our account. All transactions will occur in Japanese Yen (JPY); all other currencies on GeekStuff4U.com are provided for estimation purposes only.
2.3 Wire Transfer
Wire transfers are accepted for all orders. GeekStuff4U will ship your merchandise after your funds have cleared in our account. The Customer is responsible for all local and international bank transfer fees; check with your bank when conducting the wire transfer for further information. All transactions will occur in Japanese Yen (JPY); all other currencies on GeekStuff4U.com are provided for estimation purposes only.
3. Shipping & Delivery
All shipping expenses are the responsibility of the Customer and will be considered when calculating the cost of your order. The Shopping Cart on GeekStuff4U.com will provide you with a quote of the shipping expenses in your selected currency. All currencies excluding Japanese Yen (JPY) are provided for estimation purposes only.
GeekStuff4U will provide the Customer the shipment tracking number for their merchandise via email to the email address provided, if the shipment method selected by the Customer has a tracking feature. GeekStuff4U will notify you via email the moment your item is shipped. Your receipt of payment will also be included at this time.
GeekStuff4U.com lists many products on the Japanese market, including a large number of products popular in the domestic market. Due to local market demand, there are times when some items may not be available at the time of your order. In such cases, we will notify the Customer immediately when the product should be available and the estimated delivery date. At that time, the Customer will have the option to cancel their order immediately, except in cases where the order includes products that cannot be canceled (as specified by GeekStuff4U prior to purchase).
GeekStuff4U is not the manufacturer of products sold on GeekStuff4U.com and shall not be held responsible for issues that originate from the manufacturer or manufacturers, including (but not limited to) changes in product specifications and delays in manufacturing or delivery.
The Customer is responsible for Customs duties, Import fees, and all other fees and taxes that may be levied on a package shipped to the Customer. These fees cannot be estimated nor collected by GeekStuff4U, as they are generated by entities separate from GeekStuff4U, and GeekStuff4U cannot be held responsible for fees levied on merchandise sold from GeekStuff4U.com. Questions regarding cross-border import laws and protocols should be addressed to the relevant Customs agency with jurisdiction in the destination country of delivery. GeekStuff4U will not declare purchased merchandise as gifts, or declare merchandise prices lower than the retail price of the product or products contained in the package.
The Customer is responsible for taking custody of packages shipped to the shipping address specified by the Customer. If packages are returned to GeekStuff4U by the shipping service because the Customer either refused delivery or was unavailable to accept delivery (and did not take steps to arrange re-delivery), GeekStuff4U will notify the Customer via email and await instructions. The Customer will be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by reshipping the package to the Customer, including shipping and handling fees. If the Customer wishes to cancel the order at that time, GeekStuff4U will refund the order amount minus a 25% Restocking Fee. If the Customer does not reply to the Returned to Sender notification email from GeekStuff4U within one month, the customer will forfeit the option of having the package reshipped to any address, even at the Customer's expense. A 15% Storage Fee and Penalty will be applied to refunds every month after the first month that the Customer does not reply to the notification email from GeekStuff4U. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that emails from GeekStuff4U will reach the Customer's inbox (rather than being rerouted to the Spam or Junk box).
3.1 EMS
From the date of shipment, allow 4 to 7 business days for the estimated time of delivery. GeekStuff4U will notify you via email the moment your item is shipped from our logistics center in Tokyo. Your receipt of payment will also be included at this time. EMS provides insurance against damage, theft, or loss in transit, as well as a tracking system to track the progress of your merchandise. GeekStuff4U cannot be held responsible for any damage, theft, or loss that occurs to packages in transit. GeekStuff4U recommends EMS to ship merchandise purchased from GeekStuff4U.com.
EMS is an international cooperative of national postal agencies in the countries and territories listed on this page, and is not a shipping service operated by GeekStuff4U. As such, GeekStuff4U cannot be held responsible for problems in the shipment process once packages leave our Tokyo logistics center, including, but not limited to: misdeliveries, failure to notify the customer of recipient unavailability at time of delivery, damage, theft, loss, or any other fault of local EMS agencies. GeekStuff4U will strive to investigate non-deliveries in coordination with EMS agencies in Japan and in the destination or transit countries, as well as local law enforcement, as necessary.
3.2 Registered Airmail
Estimated delivery times tend to be longer than EMS; allow 7 to 12 business days for delivery from the date of shipment. Additionally, shipping insurance is not available for merchandise shipped via Airmail, and GeekStuff4U cannot be held responsible for any damage, theft, or loss that may occur to the merchandise in transit. GeekStuff4U recommends EMS to ship merchandise purchased from GeekStuff4U.com.
4. Repairs or Replacements of Defective Merchandise under Manufacturer Warranty
All products purchased through GeekStuff4U are covered by the service warranties offered by the original manufacturer of each product, for the full duration and conditions of each original manufacturers' service warranties, including (but not limited to) repairs and replacements. Please inquire as to specific manufacturers' warranty terms and conditions prior to shipping us a product for warranty services.
If you suspect your product is damaged, please email info@geekstuff4u.com or call +81-3-5471-0377 to open a case with GeekStuff4U Customer and Technical Services. A Customer Service representative will provide you with detailed instructions on how to ship the product or products back to the GeekStuff4U logistics center. Unsolicited returns that were not 'phoned in' to a GeekStuff4U Customer Service representative (either by phone or by email) will not be accepted, and will be subject to the same reshipping conditions as detailed in this section, or the 25% Restocking fee as detailed in the following section.
- Please note that the Customer is responsible for shipping fees to send GeekStuff4U any products for warranty services via a traceable and insurable express parcel service. Return shipping fees from GeekStuff4U to the Customer after the completion of warranty repairs will be paid for by GeekStuff4U.
- Please do not erase the Recovery Partition on your personal computer, as this will nullify most computer manufacturer warranties. Additionally, make a backup of all your important data.
- Please make sure your product is in its original packaging, including all parts, accessories, manuals, and discs included. Place the original product packaging in another layer of packaging, with enough padding to prevent additional damage to the merchandise in transit; do not affix labels directly on the product packages.
- If a product is shipped back to GeekStuff4U for warranty purposes on false claims, or inspection by GeekStuff4U Customer and Technical Services staff reveals the product to be in working order (or in user error), the Customer will be responsible for return shipping fees to ship the product from GeekStuff4U to the Customer.
- Please remember to write "Return for Warranty Service" and the origin, "Made in Japan" clearly on your package. We will not accept shipments without these notations, as Customs VAT fees may be levied against us for packages that do not have the above written clearly.
GeekStuff4U is neither the manufacturer nor the provider of warranties for products sold on GeekStuff4U.com and shall not be held responsible for manufacturer-related issues such as changes in product specifications, delivery delays, or dead-on-arrival deliveries. Although Customer Service will test returned products to confirm symptoms prior to submission for warranty repair, the Customer acknowledges that GeekStuff4U's sole responsibility is to facilitate submission of the defective product or products to the relevant warranty provider service provider for warranty repair. Most manufacturer warranties do not cover repairs or replacements if they determine that damage to a product covered by warranty was caused by Customer misuse, such as dropping, spillage, or electric shock. The manufacturer is the final arbiter of such claims and will handle cases accordingly at their discretion; GeekStuff4U will strive to have repairs accepted by manufacturers, but has no ability to influence the outcome of, and cannot be held responsible for, decisions made by manufacturers in regards to their warranty services. In the event that the manufacturer determines that a repair request cannot be covered under their warranty services, or that a repair request cannot be covered under their free repair services under warranty, we will notify the Customer via email immediately for the Customer to decide how to proceed. If the Customer decides at this point to cancel the order and return the product for a refund, conditions specified in the next section (Returns and Refunds from GeekStuff4U) will apply.
GeekStuff4U is not responsible for theft of, or damage to, your merchandise while it is in transit or in repair at the manufacturer's warranty service center. HIC International strongly suggests that you insure any items you deem valuable prior to releasing them from your control.
5. Returns and Refunds from GeekStuff4U
GeekStuff4U will accept returns from the Customer of merchandise purchased through our website within five (5) days of its delivery to the Customer, provided it meets the following criteria:
- The Customer has opened a case with GeekStuff4U Customer and Technical Services prior to shipping merchandise for return, and the GeekStuff4U Customer Service representative has deemed that the case merits a refund.
- The merchandise, its packaging, and its peripherals are returned in absolutely new condition, just as it was shipped to the Customer. Used products and opened packages of consumable products will not be accepted for return. This includes computers that were turned on even once.
- There is absolutely no damage to any part or component of the originally shipped merchandise, visible or internal.
- The product is not specified by GeekStuff4U as being non-returnable.

A Customer Service representative will provide you with detailed instructions on how to ship the product or products back to the GeekStuff4U logistics center.
- Please note that the Customer is responsible for shipping fees to send GeekStuff4U any products for warranty services via a trackable and insurable express parcel service, as well as any transfer costs that arise from refunds.
- Please make sure your product is in its original packaging, including all parts, accessories, manuals, and discs included. Please place the original product packaging in another layer of packaging, with enough padding to prevent additional damage to the merchandise in transit; do not affix labels directly on the product packages.
- Please remember to write "Return for Warranty Service" and the origin, "Made in Japan" clearly on your package. If a shipment has Customs fees levied against us because these notations are missing, we will not accept the package.
- Refunds will be subject to a 25% Restocking Fee. Additionally, refunds only apply to the price of the merchandise; shipping fees do not qualify for refund.
- GeekStuff4U reserves the right to make the final and absolute decisions over returns and refunds.
The Customers' refund will be processed upon receipt of the returned merchandise. GeekStuff4U will notify the Customer by e-mail immediately after the package is received and a refund has been issued.
Minor cosmetic damage, such as scratches or dead pixels, are not grounds for return for many items purchased from GeekStuff4U. Contact GeekStuff4U Customer and Technical Services to identify the source of your concern and determine if it is a problem that can be handled locally or solved by warranty repair services from the manufacturer (see section Repairs or Replacements of Defective Merchandise under Manufacturer Warranty).
If you have any questions about the performance of your merchandise, please contact GeekStuff4U. Do not return merchandise directly to the manufacturer in Japan or overseas.
GeekStuff4U will dispute any fraudulent chargebacks and pursue legal action against Customers attempting to defraud GeekStuff4U in any way.
6. Privacy & Security
When you shop or subscribe to services offered by GeekStuff4U, including (but not limited to) setting up and/or using customer accounts, purchasing products, participating in a sweepstakes, and filling out promotions or surveys, GeekStuff4U may collect personal information from you. Personal information may include:
- Your contact information – name, mailing address, phone number, and/or e-mail address
- Your billing and/or shipping information, including PayPal account information and/or shipping address
- Your personal preferences, such as product wish lists, hobbies and likes or dislikes related to the products we may offer
If the Customer provides us with information about others, or if others provide us with your information, such as a shipping address, we will only use that information for the specific reason it was provided.
We use the information you provide in order to, among other things, fulfill requests for products, services or information, provide customer services, administer sweepstakes, promotions or surveys, offer new products and services, improve the effectiveness of our web site, our marketing endeavors and our services and offers, conduct research and analysis, send marketing communications, perform other business activities. GeekStuff4U will never sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
From time to time, we may be required to share personal information in response to a court order, subpoena, investigation by a law enforcement or government agency, or as otherwise required by law. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. We may share certain personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property and safety of others and or ourselves. We may also transfer personal information in the event of a corporate sale, merger, acquisition, dissolution or similar event.
6.1 Information Security
GeekStuff4U.com has information security measures in place and takes all possible precautions to protect against the loss, misuse and unauthorized access of Customers' personal information in our possession. GeekStuff4U.com cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us by e-mail, and you do so at your own risk.
Because the security of your personal information is a high priority, we have taken numerous steps to ensure that it is processed confidentially, accurately and securely. The GeekStuff4U.com web site uses encryption technology, such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), to protect your personal information during data transport. SSL encrypts personal information such as your name, address, credit card number, and PayPal account information.
6.2 Seller-Buyer Relationship
If any Customer endeavors to mislead, illegally obtain and/or steal merchandise or obtain merchandise from GeekStuff4U for the purpose of fraudulent or illegal activities, we will not hesitate to pursue legal action against the Customer and cooperate fully with law enforcement and legal authorities in the relevant jurisdictions. GeekStuff4U will not be held liable for any fraudulent or illegal activities performed with products obtained from GeekStuff4U.com.
6.3 Changes to this Privacy Policy
Because GeekStuff4U.com will continue to implement new technologies and improve the services and features we provide, this policy is subject to change. If there are changes or additions to this Privacy Policy, we will make those changes available for review. If we change our information practices or this Privacy Policy in such a way that your personal information may be used or shared in a different manner and you no longer agree with these Terms and Services, we will give you the opportunity to opt-out of having your information used or shared in that new manner.
7. Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise specified, Customers have three (3) days to cancel orders made on GeekStuff4U.com, provided that the cancellation is made prior to shipment. If you have remitted funds to GeekStuff4U, it will be refunded the next business day (Japan time) minus a 25% processing and cancellation fee. If you purchased your merchandise in a different currency, your fee will be calculated in your currency based on the currency exchange rate on the date of your cancellation. Products that cannot be cancelled after purchase, such as order-made or BTO (Build-to-Order) computers, will be indicated as such on its product page.
8. Technical Support
GeekStuff4U provides basic technical support for products purchased from GeekStuff4U.com via our Customer and Technical Services team, which can be reached at info@geekstuff4u.com. In most cases, we will be able to quickly diagnose and remedy the problem you are experiencing; however, if a problem is beyond our abilities and your product is under manufacturer warranty, we will open a case with GeekStuff4U Customer and Technical Services for repair or replacement (see section Repairs or Replacements of Defective Merchandise under Manufacturer Warranty).
9. Gift Card
The GeekStuff4U Gift Card is only valid for use on GeekStuff4U.com. Your Gift Card may only be used to make purchases up to the Remaining Card Value. If you wish to make a purchase for an amount that exceeds the Remaining Card Value, you must pay the excess using another payment method. You cannot obtain any cash advance with your Gift Card or redeem your Gift Card in cash. Your Gift Card can only be used once. If your purchase amount doesn't exceed your Gift Card, you cannot redeem your Gift Card for cash or redeem the difference in cash. Your Gift Card will be valid for use for two years from the date of issue (or as otherwise extended by us). Treat your Gift Card like cash. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded. You can check the expiration date of your Gift Card by sending us an email at info@geekstuff4u.com. You cannot exchange your Gift Card for cash or another discount. You cannot cancel your Gift Card. Goods that are purchased solely, or in part with a Gift Card may be exchanged or returned subject to the exchange and returns policy of Geekstuff4U (see above relevant sections). You are responsible for the use and safety of your Gift Card. You are liable for all transactions on your Gift Card, except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by GeekStuff4U or by any of its employees. GeekStuff4U reserves the right to change any of the terms contained in these Terms and Conditions at any time where the change is required to add or remove goods or services which may be purchased with the Gift Card.
9. Promotions and Discounts
9.1 Gift Card
The GeekStuff4U Gift Card is only valid for use on GeekStuff4U.com. Your Gift Card may only be used to make purchases up to the remaining gift card value. If you wish to make a purchase for an amount that exceeds the Remaining Card Value, you must pay the excess using another payment method. You cannot obtain any cash advance with your Gift Card or redeem your Gift Card in cash. Your Gift Card can only be used once. If your purchase amount doesn't exceed your Gift Card, you cannot redeem your Gift Card for cash or redeem the difference in cash. Your Gift Card will be valid for use for two years from the date of issue (or as otherwise extended by us). Treat your Gift Card like cash. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded. GeekStuff4U reserves the right to change any of the terms contained in these Terms and Conditions at any time where the change is required to add or remove goods or services which may be purchased with the Gift Card.
9.2 Coupon Code
GeekStuff4U coupon codes are valid only for purchases from GeekStuff4U.com. Coupon codes may only be used by the Customer, or Customers, authorized for use of that coupon code by GeekStuff4U, and may not be transferred or sold to a third party without the agreement of GeekStuff4U. Coupon codes are valid only for certain conditions as specified by GeekStuff4U, such as minimum purchase price, minimum weight, minimum quantity, expiration date, or the inclusion of a certain product or products in an order to which the coupon code can be applied; these conditions will be communicated to the Customer at the time the coupon code is transferred. Goods that are purchased in orders that coupon codes were applied to are subject to the same terms, conditions, and policies governing other purchases made on GeekStuff4U.com (see above relevant sections). The Customer is liable for all transactions to which a coupon code is applied. GeekStuff4U reserves the right to change any of the terms contained in these Terms and Conditions at any time.
