We at GeekStuff4U.com strive to meet the demands of our Customers as efficiently and rapidly as possible. In order to create and maintain the best relationship possible, we ask that you read our Terms, Conditions and Policies regarding all aspects of your orders.
GeekStuff4U and GeekStuff4U.com are the brand names created and operated by HI Consultants, Inc. The following terms and conditions govern the sale by the entity (“GeekStuff4U Inc.” and/or “GeekStuff4U.com”) named on the invoices we provide to our Customers for orders of electronic devices, laptop, notebook and desktop computers, and/or related products sold by GeekStuff4U.
By ordering and/or accepting delivery of products located on the GeekStuff4U website or described on the Customer’s invoice, the Customer agrees to be bound by and accepts these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may not be appended, modified or altered by the Customer. No other document(s) may be used to change our agreement in any way. Any attempts to append, modify, or alter our terms and conditions will make the agreement null and void unless agreed upon in writing by the management of GeekStuff4U.
GeekStuff4U reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior written notice at any time. All of our terms, conditions and policies are written with both the Customer’s and our own security in mind. Our goal is to have 100% customer satisfaction and we of course apologize in advance for any inconvenience these policies may cause.

’s History:
The GeekStuff4U website was formed in 2004 as a joint venture between HI Consultants Japan and Specialty Import Group, Inc. of New York. Started during one of the most exciting periods for the high-tech industry, HI Consultants was formed in 1988 with an initial capital of ¥3,000,000. The goal of the company was to offer hardware and software consulting solutions for companies in the greater Yokohama and Tokyo area. Many of their largest customers turned out to be trading companies doing a brisk business between Japan and the United States.
SIG, Inc. formed in 2001 with an initial capital of US $500,000. SIG, Inc. was originally a number of smaller Japanese trading companies based in New York dealing in various products from the U.S., Europe and South America. They were consolidated under one company in 2001. SIG, Inc. decided to maintain its close ties with Japan and the IT industry by rekindling and continuing their successful business relationship with HI Consultants. The result was a new trading company and website focused on bringing the hottest new technology Japan has to offer right to your doorstep in Europe, North America and Asia.
Although GeekStuff4U.com has just arrived on the Internet scene, we actually have over 16 years of business experience on several continents in IT hardware, software and consulting services. We also have an excellent track record of quality service to our customers. We maintain a warehouse at our headquarters in Tokyo, Japan as well as a Sales office on Lexington Avenue in New York on the 23th floor of the GrayBar Building. We also plan to expand into Europe and the Middle East in the near future. Overall, it is an exciting time to be a part of GeekStuff4U team and we appreciate your loyal patronage.

We aim to provide the most accurate and up-to-date product specifications, information and descriptions of all products listed on our website. We take this information directly from the manufacturers printed materials, website and sales representatives. In some cases, product features and/or included options may change prior to official release. We will do our best to make our Customers aware of such changes or modifications, but GeekStuff4U.com IS NOT responsible for any errors or omissions within in these descriptions or specification. If one of our Customers is ever dissatisfied with their purchase due to such an inaccuracy, GeekStuff4U will, make every effort to improve the Customer’s satisfaction. Since every case may be different, the solution may also change based on the situation. We suggest you contact one of our customer support representatives immediately to explain what your difficulty. All final solutions are made at the discretion of the GeekStuff4U.com management.
GeekStuff4U.com IS NOT responsible for any typing errors, misprints, or general errors contained on the www.GeekStuff4U.com website or any other GeekStuff4U affiliated site. All facts and information, whether related to the site or to individual products, should be confirmed via email before a purchase.
’s Warranty:
HARDWARE:
All products purchased through the GeekStuff4U are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. For Customers which require service or repairs from the Japanese manufacturer, GeekStuff4U provides a complimentary Service Claim Program for shipping products to and from Japan, thanks to the GeekStuff4U.com's FREE DHL service for repairs. This FREE service is valid ONLY within the official manufacturers warranty period (normally 12 months from the date of purchase). If the Manufacturer’s warranty extends beyond 12 months, we will of course honor the warranty as directed by the manufacturer.
Please DO NOT erase the Recovery Partition on your computer, as this will nullify your GeekStuff4U Warranty.
REMEMBER: GeekStuff4U.com WILL NOT accepts products returned for warranty if you have erased the Recovery Partition or return your merchandise to us without all of the Japanese Restore tools (e.g. Recovery CD, etc.) that were originally enclosed when your merchandise was shipped.
Taking advantage of our Service Claim Program is as easy as 1-2-3:
- Contact a GeekStuff4U Customer Service representative to inform us of the problem. The CS Representative will give you detailed information on how to ship the product(s) to us here in Japan at NO COST for you.
- GeekStuff4U will track your merchandise and as soon as it arrives at our Customer Service Department, we will ship it out the same day to the proper Manufacturer Service Center for the necessary repairs. We will notify you of the damage and forward you the Estimated Repair Completion date and of any extra charges from the manufacturer if necessary.
- Once your product is repaired and returned to us and ready to be re-shipped to the Customer, we will contact you again by e-mail to notify you of the status and give you the new tracking details for your product. Once again, return shipment is at our expense.
Disclaimer: In cases of warranty covered service or repair, GeekStuff4U acts only in the capacity of an agent to the manufacturer on your behalf. Please remember most manufacturers will not repair computers free of charge in cases where they determine the Customer to be responsible for physical damage such as dropping, spillage, electric shock, etc. The manufacturer is the final arbiter of such claims and will respond accordingly at their discretion. GeekStuff4U is not responsible for their decisions and has no ability to influence the outcome. In the event the manufacturer determines that their warranty is null and void and/or that a fee is necessary in order to repair your merchandise, we will notify you by e-mail immediately of their findings and allow you to decide how to proceed.
GeekStuff4U is not responsible for theft or damage to your merchandise while it is in transit or being repaired. We strongly suggest you insure any items you deem valuable prior to releasing them from your control.
GeekStuff4U may, at its discretion, repair or replace any faulty merchandise upon learning of the problem from the Customer.
SOFTWARE:
GeekStuff4U.com only take under warranty the hardware part of the product you just purchased, if you encouter any problems or difficulty with the Operating System (Windows XP HOME, XP PRO, Vista Home Premium, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate 32 or 64bit) or any other software included with your computer please contact the original manufacturer which is in our case either

GeekStuff4U.com is not any ANY CASES reponsible for any bugs or damage that any given software may cause to your computer, we strongly advice you to contact the respective Software manufacturer if you have any questions regarding how to use them. ’s Shipping Policy:
All products ordered through the GeekStuff4U website originating in Japan are shipped via EMS unless otherwise requested by the Customer. All Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the Customer and should be considered when calculating the cost of your order. GeekStuff4U will provide our Customers the tracking number for their merchandise via e-mail to the address provided, the instant it is generated by the Shipper. Once all payment has been done and once all the necessary verification has been done, please allow 4-7 business days for the estimated time of delivery. GeekStuff4U will notify you via email the moment your item is shipped. Your receipt of payment will also be included at this time.
The GeekStuff4U.com website lists the hottest products to hit the Japanese market. Due to local demand, there are times when some items may not be available at the time of your order. In such cases, we will notify the Customer immediately when the product should be available and the estimated amount of time it will take to be delivered. In such cases, the Customer will of course have the option to cancel their order immediately.
Since we do not begin the shipment process until we receive payment, GeekStuff4U will credit your account, return your funds or credit your charge card as per your payment method and/or directions.
’s Return & Refund Policy:
GeekStuff4U always aims to provide the best customer service available anywhere. However, from time to time an instance may arise where a product is damaged or does not meet the expectations of our Customers. In general, all merchandise purchased through our website carries the same standard manufacturer warranty that comes with the product when it is purchased, provided the unit is not damaged in any way.
The manufacturers WILL NOT honor product warranties if the items are damaged in any way by the Customer. In many cases, the manufacturers also will not honor the warranty if the merchandise is located outside of Japan.
Since we test each unit prior to shipment, there should be no instances of your merchandise arriving Dead on Arrival (DOA). However, on the rare occasion that you merchandise is damaged in shipment or arrives DOA, we will of course help facilitate you return of faulty merchandise.
GeekStuff4U WILL NOT accept the return of any merchandise if any part of the returned merchandise is damaged by the Customer in any way internally or externally or for TAXES/DUTY reasons. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule and the GeekStuff4U Management remains the final arbiter over decisions on all returns.
GeekStuff4U WILL accept returns of merchandise purchased through our website provided the return meets the following criteria:
1. The merchandise is returned in absolutely NEW CONDITION, just as it was shipped to the Customer initially. This means all of the original packaging, software and/or any other material included in the original shipment from GeekStuff4U.
2. There is absolutely NO DAMAGE to any part or component of the originally shipped merchandise--visible or internal. GeekStuff4U management reserves the right to determine the final returned condition of the merchandise and whether or not it will be accepted for return.
3. The merchandise purchased from GeekStuff4U is returned in its original condition within FIVE (5) DAYS from its original delivery date.
4. You ship the merchandise to us via prepaid 2nd Day Air delivery service via a major parcel delivery service such as EMS, Airborne Express, DHL, UPS or FedEx. You are responsible for all shipping fees to GeekStuff4U. These fees are non-refundable. In order to accept your returned merchandise, we require that you inform us of the carrier and tracking number via e-mail at: returns@geekstuff4u.com the same day it is shipped.
5. Returned merchandise must be accompanied by a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number (obtained from the GeekStuff4U Customer Service or Technical Support Department) and a copy of the original purchase order to verify the serial numbers of all merchandise.
The Customers refund will be processed upon receipt of your merchandise and clearance from the Repair & Refund Department. GeekStuff4U will notify you by e-mail immediately after your item is received and a refund has been issued.
Please remember that minor cosmetic damage, such as dead pixels are in general not grounds for return of many items purchased from the manufacturers. Please contact one of our highly trained Customer Service Representatives to identify the source of your concern and determine if it is a problem that can be handled locally or if the item must indeed be returned.
If you have any questions about performance of your merchandise, please contact GeekStuff4U before attempting to return it directly to the manufacturer yourself or taking any other action. GeekStuff4U will dispute any fraudulent "charge backs" and pursue legal action against Customers attempting to defraud GeekStuff4U in any way.
IMPORTANT:
Please remember to write “Return for Warranty Service” and the origin “Made in Japan” clearly on your package or we WILL NOT accept the shipment due to the VAT fee that the Japanese Customs Office will levy against us.
’s Exchange Policy:
GeekStuff4U WILL NOT exchange or refund any merchandise if any part of the returned merchandise is damaged by the Customer in any way internally or externally. The GeekStuff4U Management remains the final arbiter over decisions to grant refunds or issue a replacement.
Exchanges are valid only for products that are the same type (i.e. notebook to notebook) or for other products that are of an equivalent or greater value. The Customer is responsible for the difference in price, including the restocking fee.
GeekStuff4U WILL accept Exchanges of merchandise purchased through our website provided the return meets the following criteria:
1. The merchandise is returned for exchange in absolutely NEW CONDITION, just as it was shipped to the Customer initially. This means all of the original packaging, software and/or any other material included in the original shipment from GeekStuff4U.

GeekStuff4U only accepts payment via Bank Transfer, valid Credit Card via the PayPal® Internet payment system.
Bank Transfer Details:
Wire Transfers are accepted for all orders and usually reduce the turn-around time from order to shipment of your merchandise. Most items are shipped within 24 hours after your wire transfer clears in our account.
All payments must be cleared prior to GeekStuff4U shipping your merchandise. In some cases, Japanese banks require a valid photo ID (e.g. copy of passport or valid ID card) prior to accepting a wire transfer. If necessary, we will notify you at the time of your order whether or not it will be necessary for you to e-mail or fax us a copy of your valid ID prior to accepting the funds transfer. Once you have registered with GeekStuff4U, you will not be required to send another copy of your ID. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that all ID information is completely secure and will only be used for verification purposes ONLY.

Credit Card (Via PayPal) Payment Details:
PayPal payments are valid only for residents in nations serviced by PayPal. Residents of nations not serviced by PayPal are required to contact GeekStuff4U prior to completing your order and shipment in order to process the transaction.
GeekStuff4U will only ship merchandise to the address registered with PayPal. Prior to shipment we will confirm that the shipment address matches the address registered with PayPal.
In order to reduce and/or eliminate fraudulent charge-backs, GeekStuff4U will ONLY ship your merchandise once your funds have cleared in our account. In order to avoid delays, please use PayPal’s Direct Bank withdrawal system to eliminate any waiting period. The fastest way to receive your items is via a bank wire transfer. We will usually be able to ship your merchandise within 24 hours of receiving your payment.
As per PayPal’s Anti-Fraud Policy guidelines, customers that attempt fraudulent credit card reversals via PayPal will be subject to a 25% Restocking fee in addition to all Shipping fees.
Customs Clearance and Tax Details:
International Customers are responsible for all customs duties, fees and/or taxes applied in their home countries. GeekStuff4U is not responsible for any customs duties, fees or taxes imposed in the Customer’s home country. In some cases items may arrive to your delivery address without incurring customs duties, fees or taxes. It is the Customer’s responsibility to pay these if necessary.
’s Cancellation Policy:
All GeekStuff4U Customers have three (3) days to cancel their order, provided that the merchandise is cancelled prior to shipment from Japan. If you have remitted funds to GeekStuff4U your funds will be refunded the next business day (local Japan time) minus a €50 (50 Euro) processing and cancellation fee. If you purchased your merchandise in a different currency, your fee will be calculated in your currency based on the PayPal exchange rate on the date of your cancellation.
